North Lincolnshire Half Marathon Results 28 April 2013

Great running by DAC at this half marathon.  Dave Tune was first Vet to finish.  Ian, Stuart and Pete put in there best half marathon thats recorded on Power of 10.  PB by 5 minutes for Rich. Malc’s chip did not work but his gun time is a PB I think.  Hope Jonathon is coming back to fitness.  PB for Glynn.  Well done all.

Any errors give me a shout.

South Yorkshire Road League Low Bradfield 24 April 2013

Sheffield Lord Mayor’s 10k Results

Well done to the Athletes who represented DAC on Sunday 21 April 2013.

Another great run by Bertie smashing his PB and breaking his own club record again.

Simon did a great time, as of yesterday he raced three times in 8 days.

If there was a team prize to be won then Andy will probably have made up the 3rd man?

Carl Ryde’s London Marathon Report

I approached the race with a target of running 27 mins for each 5 mile split, with a charge at the end. It went to plan and I had decided to ease down through Canary Wharf, as the twists and sharp bends make it probably the hardest part of the course. I went through 15-20 fine and was in good shape, picking up from 20-21, then the splits say it all…I’d gone from 5:25 miling down to about 7:00.

The last 5 miles were nothing short of pure hell. My left Continue reading
