Bernard Minnikin

It is with regret that I have to officially announce the  death of Bernard Minnikin, who died unexpectedly yesterday. Bernard touched the lives of most of us at Doncaster AC, he will be sadly missed.

There will be a minutes silence at the track tonight at 6.30pm.

Bernard’s family have agreed for me to speak at the funeral, details of which should be known soon. If you have anything you would like me to say on your behalf or a fond moment please let me know by email or in written form at the Club.

Our thoughts are with Bernard’s family at this difficult time.

Christmas Closure

Our final club membership training night, when the tuck shop and cabin reception are open will be Thursday 18th December and re-open Tuesday 6th January 2015. There will be no under 11s training during this period but senior coaching teams may train subject to the lead coach’s discretion. The long term forecast suggests freezing temperatures for January, should the track become ice-bound, a risk assessment will take place to advise whether or not training is possible. In the meantime the Club Directors wish everyone a merry christmas and every success for 2015

Time Trial Results November 2014

Roy has sent the results through, another great turnout.  Please keep your numbers, we have that many runners doing them we need to use numbers now.

When you are finished please move away from the finish area to have a chat, we need space to manage the event.  We plan to implement a finish funnel next time.

Well done everyone!
