Parking and Traffic at the Keepmoat

Message sent to all users of the Keepmoat Stadium:-

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all staff and tenants that we have a one way system in operation on the road around the stadium.  This is in place for the safety of all visitors and staff and I have been made aware that a number of people are ignoring the measures currently in place.  Recently, this problem has escalated and I am concerned that this is putting people at risk, particularly in the evening when we have large numbers of children attending the stadium pitches and athletics track.  It is important that drivers acknowledge the risk and adhere to the safety measures in place for the safety of others.

We have extensive parking available at the stadium, yet people are still choosing to leave their vehicles in locations other than the designated parking bays.  This again increases the risk to everyone accessing the stadium as it is often in pedestrian areas or blocking sight lines for people trying to cross the road.  Again, this issue appears to be significant in the evening, with cars parking against the stadium and up against the soccer pitches themselves.

For the safety of all attending the stadium, please ensure you drive and park considerately and observe all safety measures in place.

Many thanks for your support with this,

2018 – DAC Club Championships

The Club Championship (members only)

This document can be found in the Rankings Menu.

The new DAC Club Championship is open to all club members and EVERYONE is encouraged to take part. To be part of the club championship you need to enter (and finish) at least one race from 4 out of the 5 category’s.  If you take place in 5 of the categories then we will take your 4 best scoring categories to work out your score.

The categories are 5k parkrun, 10k road race, half marathon, trail race and other. You can’t just enter any race though. To count towards the club championship it must be one of the races listed below. We will have the following age categories: Senior Female, Senior Male, V40 female, V40 male, V50 female, V50 male and so on up to the eldest entrants.

For each race that you enter you will be given a score based on your overall position in the race. If you come first, you get 100 points. If you finish half way through the field you get 50 points. If you come 45th out of 150 runners you would get 70 points. If you complete more than one race in a single category your highest score will be the one that counts towards the club championship. If you complete a race in every category, your highest 4 categories will be used.

For your scores to be counted in the championship you must be eligible to, and enter the race as a Doncaster AC runner, and you must wear your DAC vest in all the category’s.

The current results spreadsheet can be found here.

The races that we will use for the 2018 championship are as follows:
