Doncaster Athletic Club caters for Track and Field, Road Running and Cross Country athletes of all levels, we now have over 500 members and we are proud to count hundreds of junior members from across Doncaster and beyond in our membership. Our main training evenings are Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.  Our location and travel advice can be found here.

WINTER TRAINING INFORMATION 2014 / 2015

We currently have a waiting list for junior members. Non-members are welcome to attend our Academy, where our coaches will work with each athlete to find a suitable place in the main club. No need to book, just turn up on the day. Senior members can just call down on a Tuesday or Thursday to have a chat and a run.

Junior Race – the winning time was 14:57.

Track closure – Monday 18th May until 30th May

To get us ready for the track and field season we need to carry out maintenance work to our running track.  This will start on 18 May and is planned to last 2 weeks (hopefully less if conditions are good).

No training will take place from the track and our facilities will remain locked up over this time.

Road runners meeting as normal as are the Doncaster Pacers.

Please speak to your coaches to see if any training is available for your groups – the Brodsworth Bash is back this year during this closure:

BRODSWORTH BASH

Tuesday 19th May 2015 the Brodsworth Bash is back, a 2.4 miles trail run on the Brodsworth Pasture, all off road (opposite the A1).

All runners will be placed into one of three teams, registration at the Pickburn Arms from 6pm ready for a 6.30pm start. £1 per person entry.

Trophies for the winning team, free chip sarnies to competitors and marshals afterwards at The Pickburn Arms.

We do need some marshals along the route, any volunteers see Kev prior to the date.

Manchester Marathon – 19 April 2015

Massive well done to our Athletes who completed the Manchester Marathon, PB’s all around!
