Doncaster Athletic Club caters for Track and Field, Road Running and Cross Country athletes of all levels, we now have over 500 members and we are proud to count hundreds of junior members from across Doncaster and beyond in our membership. Our main training evenings are Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. Our location and travel advice can be found here.
We are a friendly club and new road runner members should visit our sister website, Doncaster Pacers. All abilities are welcome from international athletes to 14 minute mile runners. We currently have a waiting list for junior members. Non-members are welcome to attend our Academy, where our coaches will work with each athlete to find a suitable place in the main club. No need to book, just turn up on the day. Senior members can just call down on a Tuesday or Thursday to have a chat and a run.

Senior Doncaster athlete Chloe Bradley smashes her own 800m DAC record by nearly 3 seconds at the latest elite BMC Grande Prix endurance meeting at Solihull, Birmingham on Saturday. Chloe ran a great race to finish second in her heat, recording a new personal best time of 2mins 10.21secs, a time that moves her to 26 in the UK in the under 23 age group category.
Nicole Lannie competed at the U17 Northern Area championships at Middlesbrough last weekend and was in great form, winning the u13 girls long jump with a leap of 4.73m and in the shot produced a new personal best and club record throw of 9.26m. With no 70m hurdles or high jump events for the u13 girls, Nicole moved up an age group to run in the u15 girls 75m hurdles and finished in a creditable 3rd place in the heats and recorded a personal best in the event.
Also at the same meeting new Doncaster AC junior member Sam Hanley competed in his first major competition in the under 13 boys 100m. Sam had a comfortable win in his heat with a time of 12.90s. In the final he had a false start and was given a yellow card and when the race was restarted, Sam was slow off the start line, but came back strong in the latter parts of the race and was just beaten to the finish line by only a tenth of a second, winning the silver medal for his efforts with a new club record time of 12.78s.
