Doncaster Athletic Club caters for Track and Field, Road Running and Cross Country athletes of all levels, we now have over 500 members and we are proud to count hundreds of junior members from across Doncaster and beyond in our membership. Our Club training sessions for competing members only are Mondays (Invitation / Specialist night), Tuesday and Thursdays, all from 6pm, our location and travel advice can be found here.

We are a friendly club and new road runner members should visit our sister website, Doncaster Pacers.  All abilities are welcome from international athletes to 14 minute mile runners.  For further information about Doncaster Athletic Club please ring 07377899083, which will be monitored by our office staff between 5pm and 7.30pm on Club nights Tuesdays and Thursdays at other times please leave a message.  For membership details click here. The biggest turnout from team DAC ever at the Great North Run? 26 Athletes completed the course.

Natalie wrote “Back in June I ran the Humber Bridge Half marathon & got chatting to a fellow runner who had sadly lost her dad during the week before the race, she was telling me that although she had been running for over 20 years, he had never seen her run, this really struck a chord with me and with this in mind, I found myself setting off on Friday to compete in the Iconic Great North Run with not only my hubby & daughter in tow, but also my mum & dad who had not only never seen me run but had never been part of anything like the atmosphere I knew they would experience at South Shields on Sunday!

Run and Talk Campaign – Monday 23 September 6pm

In support of England Athletics #runandtalk campaign, we will be hosting a free event on Monday 23th September at 6.00pm from our running track at Doncaster AC (use car park 2).

This will be a walk / jog / run around lakeside. Depending on who comes we will either stay in one group or have multiple groups. This distance will be between 2 miles and 4 miles depending on the groups needs.

Option of calling at Costa for a drink after the run. You do not have to be a member to take part, all members and none members welcome, you should sign up on this webpage so we know who to expect.

Golden Ball 20 Mile – 1 September 2019

Brilliant running by James Osborne who is preparing for his next marathon. He completed this race in 2:04:21 finishing in 6th place.

England Championships – bronze for Callie

Lynsey wrote “Again I would like to thank Callies coach – Les Grant for all his support, wise words, encouragement and coaching to get Callie to this level. Coming home from the England Championships with a bronze medal is amazing and a fantastic achievement and experience. Les’s dedication and hard work and support on the day just leaves us overwhelmed. Let’s hope for phenomenal things as she goes onto the u17’s category”.
