Sponsored by Meters to Miles, Doncaster AC presents the second running of the Cusworth 10K road race on Sunday 26th September 2010. The route will be well marshalled with some authorised road closures.
We will have the use of facilities at Cusworth Hall. The roads on the route of the race are bound by farmers fields and woodlands, the route is undulating and should prove to be ideal for this annual event.
This race was immensely successful in its inaugural year and we hope to build on that success to make the race even more enjoyable. Simon Wright of Doncaster AC won last year in a time of 34:15 and the Ladies race was won by Jayne Baldwin, also of Doncaster AC in a time of 41:53. I wonder if these course records will be broken in 2010?
The 1 mile fun run starts the morning at 10:15am, open to all ages, with a medal at the finish.
The 10K starts at 11:00am with a T-Shirt to all finishers.
