Major Stone Half Marathon – 7 September 2014
Bit late this one, Carl Ryde won this half marathon with a time of 71:46. 178 runners finished the race.
“In perfect running condition Carl Ryde (Doncaster) dominated the 2014 Major Stone Half Marathon. Easing away from Steve Bateson (EHH) early on in the race, his lead was never threatened as he recorded a comfortable victory.” Humber Runner

Garry Davey was first DAC registered athlete to finish and the 3 ladies all ran PB’s , great running all.

Parkruns – 1 November 2014
At Pontefract Luke Milner finished with a time of 20:46 in 13th place. 166 runners finished.
Over at Clumber Park Lee-Ann McGarry was 113th to finish with a time of 30:28. 170 runners finished.
At Cleethorpes Eddie Fletcher finished in 13th place with a time of 21:22. Dawn Fletcher finished in 37th place (second lady) with a time of 24:53. Dawn ran a big PB on the course of 36 seconds! 118 runners finished.
Jonathan Frary made a welcome to Doncaster finishing in 1st place. Phil Bussey was the highest age graded athlete to finish.
PB’s for Stephen DOBSON (48 seconds) and Laura WRIGHT (5 seconds)..
Welcome to first timers Dawn BARLOW and Sharon BROWN. Rose James paced Sharon around the course. Well done to all.

BRASS MONKEY – ENTRIES OPEN ON 8 NOVEMBER
We can now confirm that entries for the 2015 Brass Monkey race will open at 6am on Saturday 8 November, via the website below:

We have a new race entry supplier this year. To save time on the day of entering, you can create an account and password on the Results Base website in advance. Simply click on “Log in” at the top of their website and follow their instructions to create an account. You will be able to enter fully from 6am on Saturday 8 November.
The race date is Sunday 18 January 2015 and the race starts at 10am.
The entry price is £22 for UKA affiliated runners and £24 for unaffiliated runners.
