DIRECTORS MEETING

3^RD DECEMBER 2014

MATTERS ARISING

Items will be discussed during the agenda items

BERNARD MINNIKIN

Bernard’s funeral to take place on the 8^th December at 2-30pm. Discussion on the various options for a memorial at the club. These to be discussed with family members before implementation   KL

FINANCIAL REVIEW

A/C’s reviewed.                                                                                                                                           KL

Lottery numbers increasing. Further increases would be beneficial for club finances.

ROAD MAP

Partnership with DRFC is progressing well                                                                                               KL

Discussion on maintenance of the track (repairs and cleaning). Herringthorpe track booked for the 19^th/21^st May 2015, the period of the maintenance work.

Brief discussion on the club house and how this would be sourced and managed.

COACH DEVELOPMENT

It is anticipated that a parent meeting will be held in the New Year when information on the coaching structure and athlete pathway will be presented to them.                                                     LG

Two group events have taken place at the EIS, preparing athletes for the indoor season                   LG

TRACK AND FIELD

The academy is now getting around 30 children to the indoor sessions at Hall Cross School. Sessions are now restricted to under15 children. A letter is being forwarded to club athletes informing them that if they do attend the Saturday Academy sessions they will be charged £1 to offset costs

YDL AGM has taken place. KL attended. All proposed changes to the leagues were rejected with the Scottish issue of ‘composite teams’ being deferred for further discussion and analyses                     TW

 

AWARDS NIGHT NOMINATIONS

ENDURANCE/OPEN MEETING

Endurance evening was confirmed as Wednesday the 8^th July 2015. Proposed afternoon event, on the same day for Primary Schools was agreed. Cost details for Justiming were approved, these include the fees for the Open Meeting on the 9^th May 2014.                                                             BB

2015 MEETINGS

Agreed meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month                                                All
