Doncaster and Sheffield Parkruns – 2 November 2013
Another great turnout for the Doncaster Parkrun No 6 with 19 DAC athletes taking part out of 105 finishers. Callum Wilson finished first. Congratulations also to Bertie Houghton won the Sheffield Hallam Parkrun with a time of 16:23 – 481 runners finished this one – we look forward to Bertie having a go on the Doncaster one to set a new course record!.
The Pain Barrier 10k – 2 November 2013
3 DAC runners traveled to Bradford to descend into the madness of The Pain Barrier. You will be able to tell from the times that this was no ordinary 10k race. The course included running through about 10 ponds, 1 lake, flowing streams, falling down hills and mud everywhere. The following video gives an idea of some of the course:
