Mick Bates PB
Mick Bates competed at the Loughborough international in the para race of mixed categories. Mick set a new personal best of 12.8s breaking the 13s barrier for the fist time and just 3 tenths of the para Olympics selection time.
Before the race Mike said “Today I’ve been invited to a big race meet , my first on the map race , hopefully it will go well. My race is at 3.10pm Para 100m . NERVOUS!”
After the race “Today my first International invite and I smashed it even aver setting up my blocks wrong and a slow start . End result PB 12.8s officially still getting faster !!!”
