We are hosting a number of exciting events including an Endurance Evening on the track, 8 July and 3 road / trail races.

British Masters Road Relays – 16 May 2015

Our team of vet runners had a great day at Sutton Park, Birmingham.  Phil wrote “Finished in 9th position in the road relays at Sutton park . Kevin Newman,Mick Page and Phil Bussey run all run in the v55 age group .First off was Mick Page who finished in 18.11 ,second runner Phil Bussey 20.00 ,last leg Kevin Newman in 17.31(second faster on his leg only being beaten by a second).”

Both Malcolm Leggett and Martin James ran PB’s on this tough trail fell race this week.  Good conditions but a little windy on the road section.

Chester Half Marathon – 17 May 2015

Sharon Fieldhouse did the Chester Half, she said “Well just done the Chester half marathon. Not a good time but after stomach cramps, not taking enough gels with me and a woman collapsing in front of me I managed to get round lol in about 2.40 One thing I do know is that I must do more hill training”

Tickhill OfTRAC 10 – 17 May 2015

Fantastic performances from all our runners, Karey Mills continues to put in fantastic performances.  Martin Wilkinson continues his return to form.  Club legend Rick Wright had not run 10 miles for years, he has made a determined comeback recently rejoining Doncaster AC, doing the Road League and today this tough race.  Martin James was first senior man to finish (5th overall).

Once again a lovely selection of food for the runners at the end.
