Berlin Marathon – 29 September 2019

Massive well done to James Osborne who ran a massive PB finishing in 2:44:31. This puts him in 3rd place since the rankings were started around 11 years ago.

Pontefract Half Marathon – 29 September 2019

Another athlete running PB’s is Craig Burton, this time at the Half Marathon distance.

” A very wet race in pontefract ☔️ also another pb 6 and half min faster than my current half record 👍🏻 like a drowned rat 🐀 thanks Katie Hudson again for the support 🙂 “

Craig finished in 54th place with a time of 1:34:47.

Results – Dawn Goodings 3rd Lady in the Half Marathon 2:17:00. Claire Sayles 15th 4:49.06 and Vicky Lindley 16th 4:49:10 in the 20 Mile Race. Jonathan Frary won the ultra in 4:40:53, 32.4 miles.

Blue Lagoon Relay Triathlon – 30 September 2019

Diane Polwin “encouraged” us to have a go at this, some of us were new to Tri and some of the team members are seasoned triathletes. We took 2 teams and were greatful for the gazebo that Emma’s family provided as it rained all day. It was all a bit of a confused rush but we made it to the start and our swimmers were off.

All the team members gave 100%, particular in transition 🙂

Rose said “Thanks to my Tri friends for helping when my body couldn’t take the cold any more and I collapsed in a puddle at Tri Relays Blue Lagoon. I laugh about it now. Love you lot 😘”

I know we are looking at more Tri events next year.
