Thunder Run (#TR24) – 25 to 26 July 2015
Once again Martin Hookway ran this ultra event as a solo runner and despite 
injuries in the weeks leading up to the event he made it to the start and he was delighted to equal last years total again this year. That’s 13 laps of the 10k course so 80 miles in 24 hours. His 13th lap was his fastest lap of the race.
“A HUGE thank you to my awesome Wife (Susan) & Daughter (Emmy) for supporting me through quite a few highs and lows this weekend. I am chuffed to bits to equal my distance PB of 80mi but it would not have been possible without the support of them both, a big congrats to Sue for run walking with me for 20mi during the night when I was at my lowest”
