On Saturday its the charity event (all funds go to the charity), the Aurora 5k which is located at the Keepmoat, starting at the track and taking in 2 laps of lakeside. Its your last chance to enter on line.

Round Sheffield Run – 28 June 2015
We had been looking forward to the Round Sheffield Run for months, unfortunately several of us had to pull out with injury before th
e race, that left us with a mixed pair (Stu and Jo), two solo runners (Alan and James) and 3 ladies pairs (Karey and Liz, Marie and Michelle, Rose and Janet). Wishing all the injured runners a speedy recovery as always!
The race follows the route of the Round Sheffield circular network or paths and trails through lots of the parks and woodlands in the city. The race was split into 11 short stages (from 2.9km to 400m for a sprint finish) making up a total of 20km of running with time for a short recovery jog between stages.
The ladies team of 3 x 2 r
unners won the team prize for the ladies team, this was a fantastic achievement and the team is delighted with this success.
All the runners said that they had a fantastic time and it was great to try something a bit different.
Phil Bussey also ran with his daughter Nichola who was visiting from France, this was a surprise for Nichola who enjoyed the support.

Humber Bridge Half – 28 June 2015
This was Phil Whitehead’s first half marathon. Glynn said “Well pleased with 
that time, on a quite undulating course. Great views over the Humber, from the bridge. I can see why they call mile 9 cardiac hill though. I also want to mention my great new mate Phil, for a super 1st half marathon performance, and keeping me company for the first 8 miles or so. Big well done mate… !!”
This was Glynn’s fastest half of the year so far, Glynn has done 4 half’s and raced 10 times so far in 2015.
