Results update 31 May 2015 – Humber Bridge 10k, Tough Mudder, Pretty Muddy and parkruns
Doncaster AC are hosting a number of exciting events including an Endurance Evening on the track, 8 July and 3 road / trail races.
Humber Bridge 10k – 31 May 2015
Paul Brown was the only DAC athlete to take part, he finished the race in 136th place with a time of 49:21. 404 runners finished.
Tough Mudder – 30 May 2015
Becci Barlow and Trish Murphy-Rush completed the Tough Mudder Midlands event, Becci wrote “Tough Mudder… Lives up to its name! Hardest thing I’ve ever done! Strangely enjoyed it, but never again!! I think I’ll be finding mud on me for weeks! Battered, bruised, covered in scratches and cuts and sunburnt! But haven’t laughed so much in a long time!

retty Muddy Leeds – 30 May 2015
Run Leader Vicky Davies had a great time at the charity run, Pretty Muddy. Its a 5k run with mud and obstacles which Vicky completed in about 40 minutes.

Porthcawl
Simon said “Situated on the South Wales coast between Swansea and Cardiff, Porthcawl Parkrun should probably be called a Promrun, as it is an out an back course on the sea front. The run undulated a little, but is quite a fast course, with almost 200 runners enjoying a 1km downhill finish. Very well marshaled and lots of smiles all around. But it was a gorgeous sunny morning!”
