North Lincs Half Marathon – 6 May 2018

Very warm conditions for this race which was in our club championships. Club vests must be warn for inclusion in the club championships, if your new to the club and don’t yet have one then exceptions may be made. Vests are available from the cabin.
Lots of awesome performances including a couple of PB’s. Martyn Kellett and Glynn Jones helped a runner to the stadium and help “What a (hot) day. North Lincs Half in the bag. Hard going for an ageing fossil such as myself, but even harder for the lad that myself & Glynn Jones carried / assisted into the stadium area at the end. That WAS serious. Poor lad hadn’t taken on enough water. Hope your OK ,”
Wishing a speedy recovery to Jannette Walters who unfortunate did not finish the race.

Rotherham 10k – 06 May 2018
Again, well done all on a very hot day, Darren wrote “Today showed me what joining Dac has done for myself and more importantly my wife.
I could not be prouder of what she’s achieved in such a short time with the help of all our pacers friends. You aren’t just pacers to us you are friends

In the 5 short months we’ve been members you’ve all bent backwards to support Tracie and I and for that I thankyou from the bottom of my heart.
Today was no different with the Rotherham 10k with our little crew of Claire Beegan Emma Jane and Louise Sheerin who ran with Tracie Whyman as I pushed on.
