Targu Mures European duathlon Championships

Jayne Baldwin wrote “Time to reflect after a manic few days at Targu Mures European duathlon Championships. Great company, great racing and a truly memorable experience. Used the Sprint as a warm up and finished 4th overall. Wednesday was the Standard and after temperatures of 30+, the storm of all storms arrived – torrential rain, thunder and lightening delayed the start. Wet but just like the UK!!! Had a fantastic race and finished 2nd in Silver medal position and 1 up from Ibiza – win, win!! Special thanks to Garry – coach ‘carer’ and soulmate, all the training groups and all my friends and family for their continued support.”

The Serpent Trail 50km – 6 July 2019

Well done to Michael Reynolds who completed his first ultra marathon. He finished in 148th place with a time of 6:59:54.

St Aidan’s 10k – 6 July 2019

2nd in age group (V60) was Paul Bond, finishing 90th overall with a chip time of 45:46.

Withernsea 5 mile – 7 July 2019

Well done to age group winner Caroline Wheelhouse who finished 27th overall with a time of 33:48.

Ashbourne Half Marathon – 7 July 2019

Congratulations to Craig Burton completed this half marathon finishing in 158th place with a time of 1:50:51.

Holkham Half Ironman – 7 July 2019

Husband Allan wrote “Sharon Carson you were amazing absolutely smashing Holkham half ironman in 6hrs 20 mins , you made me very proud today ❤❤❤, and a big shout out to the support crew Kevin Waugh Jody Breeze Was Elders Andy Stretch Breeze Diane Polwin Ws Papworth what an awesome weekend guys”

Sharon wrote “Holkam 70.3, unfinished business completed.
Felt so good today the swim was smooth, the bike was hilly and the run was so so hot.
But thanks to my amazing friends and support crew they were there every bit of the way. Jody Breeze Was Elders, Andy Stretch Breeze, Kevin Waugh and Diane Polwin Ws Papworth
I can’t thank you guys enough, I love you all.
And finally Allan Carson who also believed me and guided me through it. 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ .
