Rother Valley Relays 14 May 2024
Doncaster Athletic Club took 5 teams to this event hosted by Hillsborough and Rivelin Running Club. Everyone arived on time despite traffic chaos and the weather was good, just a slight headwind for the 1st half. We have supported this event from day 1 and this was the 4th time we have represented at this event.
All our athletes had a great time supporting each other and running brilliant times, each leg was 5km and this is run on the reverse of the arkrun course. Its great to see so many runners from across South Yorkshire coming together for events like this.
The next road relay event is The Dam Flask road relay, taking place on Tuesday 18th June this year at Low Bradfield, Sheffield S6 6LB. The minimum age to participate is 16 on race day. It is teams of 4 for men or teams of 3 for women or M60. The race starts at 7pm. If you wish to take part then please let Peter Badger know.
