South Yorkshire Road League 2014

The South Yorkshire Road league will soon be up on us. Doncaster Athletic Club are selling the numbers for £5 (£2 discount).  These events have a long tradition and athletes from Doncaster AC have always competed in them.  The races are highly competitive with the best runners in South Yorkshire taking part but they are open to all abilities and everyone is encouraged to take part.  Doncaster have previously taken 30 athletes to these events and it would be great to have a high turnout again, lets put all our hard training into action and enjoy these great local races.

You can get your numbers from Janet Hampson or Rose / Martin James.

You will need to be a full paid up member of Doncaster Athletic Club, have paid your UKA fee and you need to provide your UKA number when you get your race number (retain your race number for the 4 races).

Club colours MUST be worn. Any runner not in club colours will not score in team competition.

Team scoring is first four men from the same club and first three ladies from the same club. Vet men only score separately.

The use of earphones during races is not permitted and will result in disqualification.

Prizes are awarded for individuals who complete all four races in the following categories Senior Men, Men who are 40 on the day of the first race and the in five year age groups.  Senior Ladies, Ladies who are 35 on the day of the first race and then in five year age groups. Runners stay in the same age group for all events as declared.
