Yorkshire Road Relays 16 April 2022
We took 2 junior athletes to this event, both getting some valuable experience in this kind of event. Well done to Max Fox and Kian Brown.
Our senior mens team took gold!
On leg 1 we had George Phillips who completed his leg in 11:51. This gave us a great position of 2nd going in to leg 2.
On leg 2 we had Alexander Moseley who is more a specialist on 800m races, Alex did great completing the 4000m leg in 12:35 handing over to leg 3 in 3rd place.
On leg 3 we had V45 athlete Peter Badger. Peter is haveing a great season and had a fantastic leg finishing in 12:44 handing over to leg 4 in 3rd place.
On leg 4 we had William Aitkin, William was off like a rocket and kept it going. William started his leg 1 minute and 12 seconds behind Wakefield who were in 1st place and on the last bend he took the leed and took Doncaster to gold winning by 5 seconds. William completed his leg in 11:31
Rother Valley Relays 10 May 2022
We had 6 teams take part in this now annual event at Rother Valley Country Park. Our mens V60 team took gold and out mens V40 team took silver. Thank you Chris Cull for the brilliant photos.
