We Support Your Journey

Doncaster AC is committed to developing officials and will cover the cost of England Athletics online courses to help you get started.

Available courses:

  • Leading Athletics – A workshop for those wanting to support young athletes. Perfect for parents and athletes mentoring younger members. Find out more
  • Coaching Assistant – Learn to deliver fun, safe athletics sessions for ages 8+, covering warm-ups, running, jumping, throwing, and cool-downs. Find out more
  • Leadership in Running Fitness (LiRF) – Train to lead running sessions for ages 12+ and adults, focusing on risk assessment, safety, and group motivation. Find out more
  • Athletics Coach (Fast-Track) – Progress from Coaching Assistant to full Athletics Coach through in-person training, online learning, and a final assessment. Find out more

How to Get Started

  1. Explore Courses – Visit the England Athletics Website to browse available courses.
  2. Register – Sign up via the Athletics Hub for your chosen course.
  3. Reimbursement – Submit your registration confirmation to Doncaster AC, and we’ll cover your course fees.
