MEMBERSHIP

Payment deadline

Payment is due on 1st January 2025 for those renewing membership for 2025 covering the period 1st January to 31st December 2025. From 1st March 2025 a £10 late payment levy will apply, after the 1st of April full registration payment will apply.

Any member who is 11years of age or above must pay a UKA Competition Licence fee, for the competition year 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026 the cost of £19 plus £2 for Northern Athletics affiliation. All new membership and renewal fees include this payment which is not applicable to children under 11 years.

Methods of payment

• Online via Bookitzone until 31^st March 2025 (click the Bookitzone logo below). The full amount must be paid and there is a small service charge.
• At the Club cabin by card, payment or cheque.
• A %10 discount is given to family members involving one adult and two or more children.
• New membership will be half price from 1^st July (this does not apply to membership renewals)

You can now pay in no more than 3 instalments if you prefer but your membership will not be processed until the final payment is made.

Membership categories

Junior Club membership: is for sessions hosted by the Club on Saturday mornings for children aged from 5years to 8years (as of 31st August 2023). This membership can be upgraded to Standard Membership by paying the difference, when your child reaches the 8 years and moves to training within the week. Children can only compete from the age of 8 years.

Standard Membership/With gate key: This category is exclusive to our club members, 17 years or over, on payment a key is issued to the side gate, with access at any time. The lock on the gate will change on 1^st January and new keys issued on payment of the relevant amount.

Standard Membership: is for main club nights on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, for members aged under 8yrs to adult, with full use of the track and equipment, under coaching guidance.

Competing Road Runner: does not include use of the track or on-site equipment but does include use of the toilets and changing rooms. Offering discounts to all road race entries. Use of the track costs an additional £3 per visit.

Student Membership: this category includes UKA Competition Licence Fee and is for members attending University but does not include sixth form or college.

Free Life membership: This is granted to members who compete for England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales or GB, in an event within the affiliation of the Club with England Athletics. At the AGM in November 2021 English Schools selection was deemed no longer an appropriate level to qualify.

Club Vests

Club Vests: All competing Club Members must wear a Club vest at the time of competition, which can be purchased from the on-site office. By implication all members are expected to compete for the club.
