2022 – Cross Country Fixtures

As the dark nights close in, we can start to think about the Cross Country season.  Some of the best training you can do to get you fit and ready for the spring events in 2023.  They are all team events but you also compete as an individual.

Off road shoes (trail or fell) or cross country spikes should be worn unless the courses are very dry.

The events are great value, for example the South Yorkshire League cost £8 for your number.  If you do all 4 races its just £2 a race, but you don’t have to do all 4.

For all these events a club vest must be warn.

South Yorkshire League – U11 to Vet:

Registration Via Pam – Numbers £8

16th October 2022 at Norfolk Heritage Park in Sheffield

30th October 2022 at Cannon Hall Park in Cawthorne, Barnsley

27th November 2022 at a venue soon to be unveiled

SATURDAY 21st January 2023 at Longley Park in Sheffield <<< PROVISIONAL

Ages as at 31st August preceding the League season (i.e. Runners must be UNDER on that day). Under 11s must be at least 8 on the day of the race.
VET AGES FROM DATE OF FIRST FIXTURE.

Northern Relays – U11 to Vet:

22 October 2022 at Graves Park in Sheffield

Seniors see Peter Badger and Juniors see Barry Barnes.

National Relays – U13 to Vet:

5 November 2022 at Mansfield

Seniors see Peter Badger and Juniors see Barry Barnes.

Yorkshire (+other regional) Championships – U13 to Vet:

7 January 2023  – Lightwater Valley – Closing date for Entries is 21 December 2022
