Sandall Beat 10k – 11 June 2014
This was Doncaster AC’s first race of the year and we had a record number of entries talking part. Well done to all the competitors and our thanks to everyone who helped put the event on from the lead and sweeper bikes to the results processors to the drinks station and the marshals and everyone else. The race was won by Simon Wright and other prize winners from Doncaster AC were Rose James, Chris Shaw, Peter Wade and Sue Greeves.

Edale Fell Race – 8 June 2014
Richard Randle competed in thsi fell race, finishing in 122nd place with a time of 50:51. 225 athletes finished and the race was won by Simon Bailey (Mercia) with a time of 33:17.
Mountain Running Challenge – 14 June 2014
Bertie Houghton ran the up and down (690m climb and descent) loop course at Whinlatter Forest, Keswick. He finished in 5th place with a time of 36:14. The winning time was 34:33 by Endrew Lawler – Edinburgh.
Wollaton 10k – 14 June 2014
Doncaster Pacers runner Tracy Christison completed this hilly 10k in 1:10:13. This was Tracy’s second race in 3 days, well done Tracy!
Doncaster parkrun – 14 June 2014
This week the new pacer bibs were used and both Richard Randle and Rose James paced for 22 minutes and 24 minutes respectively. Both helped runners achieve PB’s which is fantastic. The race was won by George Phillips, George has won the event 7 times and finished in the top 3, 15 times!
