Results update 16 April 2018 – Cragside 10k, Boston UK Marathon, Idle Dash and parkruns

Cragside 10k – 14 April 2018
Completed Cragside which lived up to its name! Very pretty course but can’t say same for my performance due to serious lack of sleep and snotty nose 
with my cold.
Generally Very hilly course including 4km climb which I mostly walked but still managed to do it in 1.04.17 as I was doing 8.40 pace on downhill sections to make up time! Beautiful course though.
Boston UK Marathon – 15 April 2018
Mark Wrote “Thanks everyone for your messages today. 
Finished boston marathon in 3:41:16 which is a 32 minute PB. Now devouring a mcd’s. Massive thanks to my training buddies Janet Hampson and Luke Osbon. Who even took the time out to come and cheer me on. It meant so much you two xx.”

Idle Dash – 15 April 2018
Susan Forbes wrote “Lovely late Sunday morning trail from Misson Village Hall- flat, scenic but muddy! Out a long, wide, puddly path, up a steep bank-(said Hi to Ray Matthews who ran 75 marathons in 75 days for his 75th year!) – through winding woods & back along the river bank. Great fun with Emma Jane & hubby in front, Julie Cull pushing us faster & Claire Beegan giving us a mud mask. Well organised & marshalled by Maltby RC with a great homemade buffet after & prizes- DAC’s young Jordan Poulston got one- all for £5!”

Parkruns – 14 April 2018
At Doncaster 1st to finish was Jonathan FRARY and 1st lady was Molly BUTTERWORTH. Molly ran a PB and now holds the Doncaster parkrun record for DAC ladies.
