Phil Johnson 5k – 1 September 2015

This was a new race, the entry was limited to 100 runners and what a lovely race it was, almost flat, slight headwind for the last mile and not to warm. The winning time was 15:35, Nick Martin of Caistor RC. Ben Elliot is going to have special coaching in how to tie his shoes so they don’t come undone in 2 consecutive races.

Wetherby Multi-terrain 10k – 6 September 2015

Caroline Wheelhouse Wetherby 10k m/terrain, 40.52 6th female and 1st F55, and highest age grade overall! Caroline was delighted as she had not run a10k for quite some time.

Wilne 10k – 6 September 2015

Well done to our runners at this race, you will notice above, both Ben and Chris both raced earlier this week at the Phil Johnson 5k. Ben ran a big PB of 24 seconds.

Parkruns – 5 September 2015

A total of 30 Doncaster AC athletes took part at 4 different parkruns on Saturday including 8 new to the Doncaster parkrun. In 2 weeks, it will be the Doncaster parkrun’s second birthday and I understand people will be requested to fetch cake etc to help celebrate the birthday after the run, this is also planned to be a paced parkrun.
