Doncaster AC is pleased to be hosting our usual races again this year, the entries for the Sandall Beat 10k, Town Centre 5k and Cusworth 10k are now open as well as our Spring Open Meeting.
Norton 9 Mile – 6 March 2015
Great conditions for this local favourite race, well run all. Pleased to see Wayne have a fantastic run with a PB today. James ran to a specific pace with a friend. George and Paul left me for dead. Nicola was delighted to fly past me in the last mile and Marie was amazing considering she ran 22 miles yesterday (her plan was slower than 8 minute miles with Nicola, they did more like 7:15 minute miles today). Karey had a strong race but she mentioned the hills were tougher than at Snake Lane 10. Congratulations to Sharon Maughan and Sharon Fieldhouse, this was their first race as a partially sighted / guide paring, I understand they ran back to Doncaster after the race so a 20 mile+ effort!
