gallop_elevationDoncaster Parkrun – 8 March 2014

The course is quite runnable now having continued to dry out.  A total of 33 PB’s were set today, it was quite breezy and not quite as warm as the weather forecast had lead us to believe it would be.

Well done to Jonathan and George who finished 1st and 2nd and also to CaptureRose who was first Lady to finish today.  Welcome to Richard who ran his first Parkrun and he was the 60th DAC athlete to take part.  New PB’s were run by George, Pete and Martin.

The Highest 3 age grade places were run by Philip, George and Pete.

Pictured are George and Jonathan on their second lap.

Retford Half Marathon – 9 March 2014 – Caroline Ranked No 1 for V55 Lady in UK!

A big PB for Dave Sedgwick taking over 40 seconds of his 2013 time.  I think Steve McGuire ran a PB by 3 minutes, well done to Dave Tune who finished with Steve.  Going off Power of 10 Warren took 510013336_538830019564180_325585389_n minutes off his PB! Caroline Wheelhouse was first lady to finish so massive well done to her and she ran her fastest half marathon since 2011.  Jay and Glynn were disappointed but don’t worry mate, not every race can be fantastic as we all know.
