Looking for future new potential athletes to train to the next level.
Mike Cooke a UK level 4 sprints and hurdles performance coach is also a qualified level 3 endurance coach and is now looking to recruit new athletes to train to the next level of athletics and still has some spaces for u13s,u15s,u17s and above with immediate starts to develop and improve competitive performances, mainly in sprints and hurdles also covering multi events.
Training from October will be about improving technical event strength development.
Typical winter senior programme with amendments for the younger athletes.
Building the Athlete starts in October up to March 2019 with general strength development, building up technical event strength development with planned and coordinated training.
Mondays gym at Elizabethan academy circuits, strength endurance building up to technical and elastic strength development using Plyometrics medball work.
Tuesdays track speed endurance, building up to technical strength endurance development and some technical event training.
Wednesday downhill runs building up to max speed development
Thursday gym at Elizabeth academy Pilates and medball Plyometric and free weights work, building elastic strength up to max strength with injury prevention.
Friday stretching injury prevention.
Saturday/ Sunday hill training strength endurance building up to max speed strength and some technical event endurance development.
