Cost – Business rate -£120 per team – Eight members in a team

Welcome to Doncaster’s Business Games 2013! The Business Games gives business the opportunity to pit themselves against business in a range of sporting challenges across the year. By the end of the year one business will be crowned Doncaster Business Games Champions!
Event Description
This Business Games Athletics competition will take place on Wednesday 22nd May 2013 at The Keepmoat Stadium Athletics Track, Doncaster.
Teams should arrive no later than 5:45pm to register ready for a 6:00pm start and the event should finish around 8:00pm. All competitors should arrive changed and ready to compete.
Teams should be made up of four men and four women. Each participant will take part in six different track and field events. These are;
- 100m
- 400m
- 4x100m Relay
- High Jump
- Long Jump
- Shot Putt
Each event will be scored by time and distance to produce an overall score for each event for each team competing.
At the end of the event trophies will be award to the winning men’s and women’s teams. The Business Games Athletics Cup will then be presented to the winning Business Games team.
Rules
Track Events
For each track event will be timed and recorded with the winning team producing the fastest time across all heats for 100m, 400m and 4x100m relay.
Field Events
For each of the field events, competitors will have 3 attempts at trying to record the furthest/highest throw or jump. Again this will be compared to all the results across the heats. For both track and field events women will compete against women and men against men.

5th Event 7.40pm M-Long Jump W-400m
6th Event 8pm M-High Jump W-4x100m Relay
Awards ceremony and depart.
Scoring
Each team will gain points by finishing in a certain place, with 1st place rewarded with the least points.
1st place – 1 points 5th place – 5 points
2nd place – 2points 15th place – 15 points
3rd place – 3 points 20th place – 20 points
4th place – 4 points 40th place – 40 points
Each team will gain points for both their male competitors and female competitors. With both total scores being added together to get the teams overall total score. The team with the lowest score will win.
