Castle Howard 10k – 25 July 2021
Wel ldone who Julie Cull completed this 10km race finishing in 77th place with a time of 1:08:48.
Manvers Dusk till Dawn – 24 July 2021
This popular local ultra race took part last weekend with 12 hours of running to complete as many laps as you can, awesome work all. Joint 1st was Mariusz with 3 competitors completing 18 laps.
Darren got a last minute place and ran in his dads memory:
“Well that as they say is a wrap, I didn’t get my 10 laps but I’m really not upset.I managed 8 laps which Tallys up to 28 miles..I went to bed at 4 am as my legs were screaming I wanted to rise at 5am to run 1 more to see me over 30 milesMy legs had other ideas so i had to call it.I’m super happy as I’m not in any way shape or form run fit, so for a fat old knacker ill take that !!!Thanks for all the kind words and support you’ve got me round.”
