Michael Wakefield
It is with deep sadness that we have to report Doncaster AC member Michael Wakefield collapsed at Doncaster Parkrun on Saturday 24 September. At parkrun attempts were made to resuscitate Michael by fellow runners until an ambulance arrived. Further attempts were made by the ambulance crew and at DRI. Unfortunately, despite all efforts to resuscitate Michael, he passed away at 11:11. He did not die alone, Janet was with him. The family has asked us to communicate this information this information to the club. Our thoughts are with the family at this sad time.
