Vale of York Half – 10 September 2017

3 brilliant runs, massive PB’s for Simon and Nicola, and a age group win for Phil.  Nicola was first senior lady to finish and set a new club record for DAC.

Bawtry Forrest – 10 September 2017

A great day for the club and Lee at Bawtry Forrest.  Lee had his first race win beating second place by about a minute.  Phil said he wanted a top 20 place so 14th was brilliant.  Well done all of you, some first timers to racing and this course.  Full set of photos here.

Mablethorpe 10k – 10 September 2017

Andy said “Buzzin to say I did it!!  1st 10k race and 1st medal ever.  Bonus too that I knocked 4 mins off my best ever run!  Gotta thank Jody Breeze Was Elders tho’ for pushing me.  Pub now to make up for last night’s lack of it”.

At Doncaster Peter BADGER was first to finish.  Nicola DEVINE was 2nd lady to finish and is on 99 parkruns.

Its Doncaster Parkruns 4th birthday on 23 September so please support at Sandal Park, club vests optional and please fetch cake!  This is also the 1 year anniversary of the loss of DAC member Michael Wakefield at Doncaster Parkrun.  Michael loved running, he loved the club and the Pacer Group helped Michael find his love of running again, as such it is fitting we can celebrate the parkrun birthday and remember Michael.
