Pretty Muddy Ladies – 13 and 14 September 2014
At the weekend we had about 12 ladies take part in the Pretty Muddy Race for Life at Clumber Park. 8000 ladies took part in this Cancer Research event. What a great way to do something very worth while and have a great laugh which the ladies certainly did!
Loch Park 5k
Barnsley AC held an Anniversaey 5k race at Loch Park on 10 September. Chris Pye and Simon Parking went over and had good runs.

Hull parkrun – 13 September 2014
Kev, Mick and Phil visited Hull for the first time and were 3rd, 4th and 5th age graded athletes to finish. All 3 of them ran their fastest parkruns to date on the course at Hull. 378 athletes took part.

Doncaster parkrun – 13 – September 2014
The mens and ladies course records went on Saturday, Gavin KEIGHT (Hallamshire) was the first man to go under 17 minutes with 16:13. Ruth Janine WILSON (Bolton) was the first lady to go under 20 minutes with 19:48
George Philips was first home for DAC finishing in 2nd place, he had a good run finishing just 13 seconds off his PB. 7 more runs and George will have his 50 t-shirt.

Chesterfield Marathon – 14 September 2014
I decided to have another go at the marathon distance and I decided to enter this new event without knowing much about it. It was a lovely race but quite tough in the second half. I was delighted to get a 3 minute PB and the time moves me up a place on the all time top ten to fourth place.
