Doncaster AC, our club does its best to support local charities and next up is the Aurora 5km run, with 2 laps around Lakeside. All flat, ideal for beginners and all the family. All funds go to Aurora Cancer Charity. Medals to all finishers. Trophies to first adult and under 17 male and female. Click here to enter.
Castleton Fell Race – 10 June 2016
The rain started at 4pm and by the time we got to Sheffield the roads were flooded. Not looking good for a run up Lose Hill, then along the ridge to Mam Tor then back down to Castleton. The grass car park was closed due to the risk of all the cars sinking in to it.
The course was not too bad and this was Mark Webster’s first time at this race and only his second fell race (his first being only 4 days earlier at the trunce). Mark also raced at Sandall Beat 2 days earlier.
