Results update 22 February 2015 – Huddersfield 10k, Snake Lane 10 and parkruns
South Yorkshire Road League – the numbers have not arrived yet but the directors have agreed to give a £2 discount to Doncaster AC runners, so if you do all 4 you will pay only £1.25 per race!
Road Sheffield Run, something a little bit different. The race comprises 11 timed stages making up 20km with 4.5km jogging between stages. You can enter as a solo runner or as a pair. 3 pairs make up a team (so 6 runners). We currently have 5 pairs entered so please come and join us, it is a lovely route which is mainly off road. We plan to eat together at the end.
Eccup 10 – 5 July 2015 – 10 Mile Road Race on closed roads around Eccup Reservoir in North Leeds. Its going to be a bit warmer than Snake Lane or Ferriby!

Wayne Martison keeps doing the hilliest 10k races he can find, should be good practice for the road league.

Snake Lane 10 Mile
Great turnout for the Snake Lane 10, difficult running conditions with strong head wind for the last half and rain and snow started towards the end of the race. Wishing Vicky Jackson a speedy recovery.
Well done to Carl Ryde for finishing in 3rd place.
PB’s for Martin James, Janet Kerry and Rose James. Several of our athletes had never run a 10 mile race before (or run 10 miles before ever) and this was not an easy one for their first attempt at the distance so well done all.
