Hadrians wall half marathon – 26th June 2016
Mark Webster completed this tough race finishing in 144th place with a time of 2:05. He described it as a mix between the trunce and Sandall Beat 10k, so it was a tough one!

Penistone 10k – 26 June 2016
Well done Run Leader Jody “As you can see I did Penistone 10k yesterday, as I was too ill to do the
last road league there. I never started my watch as I just wanted to enjoy it. I think I did it around an hour. It didn’t go the same way as road league, it went opposite way. It was 6k up hill( but nice hills). Then 2k downhill and 2k flat. And I got a lot if lovely attention from the marshalls for being the only DAC.
Jody will be pleased to know she broke the hour finishing in 187th place with a time of 59:48.
Round Sheffield Run – 26 June 2016
1298 teams finished, this includes both individuals and pairs. Probably about 1500 runners in total.
Janet Hampson and Stuart Bartley had hoped to run this race but were unable to do so and their numbers were transferred to Wayne and Jo.
We had an amazing turnout from the club with teams in all categories. The best result came from Chris and Nicola finishing in 3rd place for the mixed team, but proud of all our athletes.
