Summer Solstice 10k – 23 June 2017
Dave Waugh had a good run at this evening race finishing in 150th place with a time of 45:23
Humber Bridge Half Marathon – 25 June 2017
Always a warm windy race, well done all running over the bridge twice and making it up cardiac hill. Course records and PB’s achieved by lots.

Round Sheffield Run – 25 June 2017
Fantastic running from team NP – Phil Whitehead and Nicola Devine finished in 2nd place in the mix category. Another great effort from team Sharon Wood and David Gibbons finishing in 12th place. Sharon and Allan Carson had a great time finishing in 141st place whilst Kevin Waugh and Jody Breeze finished in 159th place. Well done all, 200 mixed teams finished. For the mixed team we finished in 4th place overall.
For the female team we had enough runners to field 3 teams – 18 ladies. The first team finished in 5th place and the second in 9th place.
For the male pair we had the amazing George Laing and Stuart Bartley, big well done both and great to see Stuart running after injury.
For the solo men, well done to Lee Milburn running the course for the first time, finishing in 8th place, James Osborne finished with a 5 minute PB in 14th place. Ultra Captain Martin Hookway had a great run finishing in 37th place. Chris Lawson was a last minute addition, he had a great run making it very competitive around the 1:24 time!
I make that an amazing 34 runners for Doncaster AC. Would have been 35 if I had put my shoes on but dealing with a slight niggle so took my camera.
Special mention to popular member Becci Rowbottom who took a fall during the race, was helped to the finish and had to visit hospital. We hope you are feeling better now.
