Results update 30 November 2014
So far 14 DAC athletes have entered Ferriby, this is filling up so don’t miss your chance. 35 DAC athletes have now entered the Gainsborough 10k, if we get 15 more we get 5 free places for next year!
Team points for Campsall XC here. Juniors finished 3rd and Seniors 5th.
London Marathon places – we got 3 club places this year. The younger members did the draw and 1st out was Rachel Black, 2nd Sid Sidebottom and 3rd Adam Brailsford. 4th out was Becci Barlow and 5th Sharon Fieldhouse.
Doncaster Schools Cross Country

Emily Jones won the Senior Girls Cross Country, very proud mum, she is a sprinter/long jumper!
Great XC debut from Arianne Parkin in the schools xc today. An impressive 14th place running twice as far as she’d run before!

At Clumberpark Martin and family had fun “Cracking start to the weekend, Clumber Parkrun for Twirly Boy Mike Wells birthday surprise run with family and great friends in tutus. Mum’s first Parkrun too. Happy Days”

A rather soggy parkrun at Doncaster, great turnout from the club with 14 club members taking part. Not a day for PB’s, off road shoes are recommended at the moment.
1st man to finish was Jonathan Frary and 1st lady to finish from DAC was Jessica Royle (2nd lady to finish). Highest age graded athlete to finish was Rosemary ARMSTRONG.
7 of the top 10 were DAC runners, and a worm welcome to Barry Gibson on his first Parkrun. The club has now had 149 athletes take part, who will be number 150?
Jonathan and Martin incorporated the parkrun into a long run, Jonathan did 7 miles before and 3 after. Martin did 10 miles after, might make a regular thing out of it.
