Congratulations to Tammy Cullen who completed her first half marathon. Tammy said:
Well first half marathon completed today and couldn’t of done it without my boys and their support. Spotting them just at about 1.5 mile in, then Henry at one point on the tow path and then both boys about half mile from the finish and Mike as I crossed the line, which was the best sight ever, was a little emotional I can say especially due to not sleeping from nerves. Big thanks to all my run buddies at DAC that have given me so much advice and support and ignored me when I couldn’t get past the 10 mile point at one point and spat my dummy out on a few occasions but got me going and got me to the half distance, you’re all awesome. Also I have to say what a great run this was and the Marshall’s were so friendly and supportive, plus everyone who ran as we passed each other along the way whatever the distance we were running there was just so much support for each other it was fantastic. Anyway enough of my emotional post I’m gonna have a glass of two to celebrate so Big Thank you all and thanks for all your comments of good luck and well done xx

This excallent multistage race around sheffield took part at the weekend, great running all 🙂
