Tigger Tor Fell Race – 25 January 2015
Dean Watson had a great race finishing in 7th place overall (out of 380 runners!) with a time of 1:19:01. Dean described the race as a whole new world of pain!!
Meltham 10k – 25 January 2015
Wayne Martison ran his first 10k of the year with a time of 41:25 finishing in 26th place. 305 runners finished and the winning time was 37:28, looking at the photo it looked very hilly!
Dewsbury 10k – 1 February 2015
Conditions were fairly good but a strong head wind for the first 3 miles (slightly up hill) cost some time for everyone.
1077 runners finished, the race was won my Mohammad Abu Rezeq with a time of 31:02. First lady to finish was Shona Fletcher with a time of 35:55.
Simon Wright won his age group (Currently tanked Number 1 in UK!) as did Jayne Baldwin, Joanne Goodier was 3rd in her age group and Joanne ran her fastest 10k in 22 years and her time moves her up the all time top 10 to 3rd place! Martin James equaled his PB and Rose just missed out. Fantastic running everyone!
Our ladies team finished 10th out of 27 teams!
Good to see Rick Wright back running as will with his time of 47:40.

At Pontefract Simon and Rose ran the course for the first time. Paul ran a PB on the course of just over a minute!

At Doncaster it was freezing and wet. Tom and Chris were 2nd and 3rd to finish. No PB’s which is not surprising at the moment, the course is quite waterlogged and a fallen tree meant a slight diversion. Check the Rankings menu for updated league tables.
