South Yorks indoor series

unnamedDoncaster AC junior athletes were in action at the EIS for final round of indoor series with three athlete in podium places.

The Doncaster star of the meeting was Nicole Lannie who set a new pb of 1.46 in the high jump, maintaining her UK ranking at number 2 for the event and won her heat of the 200m with a new pb time of 29,05s.  Both impressive performances improved her overall GP score to win the under 13 girls gold medal position.
Ava Jones was just one point away from the top podium spot for the under 11 girls, Ava set a new pb and club record in the turbo javelin with a throw of 17.50m, she also had a convincing win in the 150m with a creditable time of 22.05s.
Josh Wilson finished in third place overall in the under 11 boys and also won the 150m convincingly in a time of 22.19s.

Other notable performances on the day were Isabella Lannie, 3rd in the under15g high jump, Thomas Reeve 3rd in the Turbo Jav and 5th in u11b 600m.
